BGLA was founded in 2019 on the belief that everyone deserves access to behavior intervention services. Our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts is committed to providing evidence-based, individualized services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. We offer a variety of supports through our consultation services including direct intervention, one-on-one therapy, parent / caregiver collaboration and training and classroom / educational assistance. Our treatment model is designed to address challenging behavior and provide support in the environment it is needed most. Whether in the home, at school, daycare, or within the community, our team is dedicated to providing support and solutions to create positive behavior change.
At Behavioral Group of Louisiana, we believe every child and family deserves access to quality behavior intervention services. Our mission is to provide practical support and solutions for everyday behavioral challenges.
"Yvette is awesome! She walked into our house and was completely unphased by any chaos that was thrown at her. She does a wonderful job narrowing down and focusing on what behaviors to target that will actually make a difference in the function of the whole family. She goes above and beyond and truly cares about supporting her clients. Could not recommend her services more!"
"Kalyn has made our experience with ABA therapy such a good one. She has educated us and equipped us with the tools to help our child to be at his full potential with all the help she has given.
She has shown kindness and love to not only our child, but us as well. We learned techniques that would benefit our child's specific needs. I 100% would recommend ABA to anyone if they had someone like Kalyn! In already stressful moments, she brought so much light!"
"Our family has worked with both Larkin and Yvette. Both are exceptional therapists and people. They gave our family and my child's teachers the tools to manage his challenging behaviors. Having them in my child's classroom and our home environment optimized behavior outcomes. Their support and kindness in working with our child was invaluable! I highly recommend working with this group of ladies."
"Larkin worked with our family for a brief time but made a larger impact than some of our son's other therapists that spent years working with him. She is outstanding at observing and taking a unique approach compared to many other ABA therapists we have worked with that seem to apply a one size fits all approach. When typical ABA practices were not producing our desired results, she got curious and helped us find unconventional solutions that fit our family better. She is the only ABA therapist I have ever worked with that I would actually recommend because of her neurodiversity affirming attitude. When I met her, I was in crisis and I found someone who finally heard me, saw me, and believed me. Additionally, she is compassionate, patient, reliable, and brave. She will benefit your life in whatever capacity she interacts with you or your child. I love knowing she is out there helping other kids and other families."
"I could not be more grateful for our experience with Whitney. We were having terrible behavior issues with my youngest at daycare; they were about ready to kick her out. Whitney came in and was constantly making plans and guidelines for them to follow at the daycare to better learn how to deal with and manage her, while also getting to know her and understand her herself and what it is that makes her tick or that sets her off into one of her fits. I could tell that she was trying so hard to be an advocate for my child, and that alone meant so much to us. I still have her on speed dial and never hesitate to call or text her when I'm feeling helpless or have questions or need advice! I could never fully put into words my appreciation for her!!"
"We are so grateful for Larkin and all that she did for our family. We were really struggling after the addition of a new baby to our home. She took the time to listen and fully understand our family and situation then gave us so much support and confidence in working through whatever challenges with threw out to her with the rationale for each of her recommendations. She'll be there to guide you with compassion and empathy."
