Larkin holds nearly 15 years experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. After years of aiding in the home therapy of a beloved family member, Larkin had a front row seat for the positive impact and life altering behavior change that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) could bring. Her career began in providing 1:1 therapy and leading social skills groups for individuals with Autism and related disorders.
She holds a bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a master's in Applied Behavior Analysis. She then obtained her board certification in 2018 and has practiced in intensive clinical models and natural environment early intervention.
Larkin now specializes in providing consultation services in a variety of settings and training other professionals in doing so.
Larkin is dedicated to supporting parents, teachers, and caregivers in understanding the ‘why’ behind a child's behavior and determining effective, evidence-based strategies to increase functional skills and eliminate undesired behavior. As a Mom of two, Larkin's recommendations are backed by science but practical and parent approved. Larkin welcomes families of both neurodiverse and neurotypical children. She is passionate in advocating that behavior analytic strategies can be effective for everyone!
